Your Role as Lead Building Structural Engineer

As a Lead Building Structural Engineer at our company, you will have overall responsibility for design work and become a key person in driving projects forward. You lead the work, coordinate different disciplines, and ensure that technical solutions meet the highest quality standards.

Your Main Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate design in construction projects
• Develop technical solutions and be responsible for modeling
• Monitor the work of designers and ensure quality
• Plan and follow up on work according to the design schedule, with an understanding of how time, resources, and changes affect the project's economy
• Perform quality checks and handle deviations
• Be a support for the team and the client through clear communication
• Participate in and lead internal meetings and provide feedback on models and documentation
• Drive improvement work and suggest measures for more efficient processes

We Are Looking For Someone Who Has

• Experience in design and handling within general construction and preferably prefabricated concrete structures
• Knowledge of relevant programs, e.g., Tekla Structures and Revit
• Good understanding of building technology (load-bearing structures, material selection, building physics)
• Familiarity with building regulations and standards (BBR, EKS, Eurocodes)
• Ability to work both independently and in a team
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing
• A problem solver who thrives on challenges

Meritorious:

• Experience with dimensioning according to Eurocodes
• Knowledge of prefabricated concrete frames
