The Role of Assistant Nurse with Us

As an employee with us, you will be part of a team that works in a person-centered way and with a rehabilitative approach. The tasks vary from support in personal care, daily rehabilitation, delegated health and medical care interventions, as well as collaboration with other professions in the team. The tasks also include planning, implementing, documenting, and following up on care work for the person who needs help and support. With us, you will also participate in the development of the operations through various representative roles and in the work with various national quality registers.

Your schedule will be set for days, evenings, and every other weekend. You are expected to perform delegated health and medical care tasks based on your position and the needs of the operation.

Your Profile

As a person, you enjoy working in teams and find it easy to meet and collaborate with other people. You are confident in your professional role and have a professional attitude towards residents and colleagues. Furthermore, you like to learn new things and participate actively and engaged in the development of the operations. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.

We are looking for you who:

• are a trained or studying assistant nurse
• have some experience of medical interventions, such as experience of working in a hospital, advanced delegation, or other experience that the employer considers equivalent
• express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, as this is required in daily work

Our Offer and Other Information

We offer a permanent full-time position with appointment as agreed.

The position is full-time or as agreed. Within the Department of Care & Social Services, all employees within home care and care housing are employed at 100% employment level, but employees have the opportunity to reduce to the desired employment level based on the needs of the operation.

Before an offer of employment, an acceptable extract from the police criminal record must be presented. The type of record extract to be requested is Work in the home with elderly and persons with disabilities. Background checks may be carried out before employment.

From July 1, 2023, "assistant nurse" is a protected professional title.
