Your Role

Saab Aeronautics Electrical Workshop is now strengthening its team with more Test Operators! Today, approximately 70 electricians work in the department, and you now have the opportunity to become part of this wonderful team that works with goal-oriented groups and 5S. As a Test Operator, you have a significant role where you contribute to ensuring the aircraft's electrical systems function correctly through various tasks. As an employee here, you are offered a developing job in a high-tech environment.

Your main responsibilities will be to test and inspect various types of cabling and panels for aircraft. The work involves handling small components and therefore places high demands on accuracy, precision, and a strong quality consciousness. Since the cabling varies in scope, days can be varied, requiring collaboration with colleagues to solve tasks.

At the start, you will receive short training in the area and then develop in the role with the help of a buddy.

The workplace is in Tannefors, and the working hours are daytime, although shift work may occur.

Your Profile

This is the role for you if you have a high focus on quality and an eye for detail! In this role, we place great emphasis on your personal qualities: you are patient, meticulous, and a team player. You can take responsibility for and drive your work independently, as well as follow instructions and drawings. Through your positive attitude, you contribute to our good climate in the work group and are not afraid to ask for help from colleagues when needed to ensure the best results.

To succeed in the role, you have:

• A completed upper secondary education, preferably within technology or electronics
• Good language skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Good computer skills
• Health examination with approved color vision
• Previous experience in testing/quality/inspection is meritorious

It is also meritorious to have work experience in similar areas and/or previous experience with soldering and reading drawings.

The position requires you to undergo and pass the security clearance checks according to current regulations. For positions where Saab requires security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
