Our client is an international technology company that develops digital products and services for millions of users worldwide. In Malmö, there is one of the company's development centers, where they work long-term with modern mobile applications, technology, and product development. Here, you become part of a development team where collaboration, learning, and code quality are important parts of everyday life. You will have experienced colleagues around you, but also space to test, ask questions, learn, and grow into the role.

The role starts as a consultant through us at Mero, with the ambition to transition to an employment at the client after 7 months.

About the role

Here you step into a team that builds mobile apps which are a central part of the customer's digital product and user experience. The role suits you who already have a strong foundation in programming, are curious about Kotlin, Swift, and modern app development, and want to continue growing in an environment where you get to work closely with experienced developers and a product used in a live environment.

You will get familiar with the working methods, work with new and existing features, test, debug, and gradually take more responsibility in the development. The team works closely with both design and product, which gives you an understanding of the user, the flows, and the whole picture behind what is being built. This is a role for you who want to develop quickly, learn from skilled colleagues, and continue to become really sharp within mobile development.

About you

We are looking for you who have a strong technical foundation and a clear interest in mobile development. You might be new from university, have done own projects alongside your studies, or have gained your first experience as a developer – but what is common is that you like writing code and want to continue becoming really good.

You do not need to have several years of work experience, but you need to be confident in programming and able to reason about code, problem-solving, and technical solutions on your own. This is a role for you who like to understand how things work, often test your own ideas, and have the drive to move forward when something does not solve itself directly.

We would appreciate if you have experience with Kotlin, Swift, or other relevant programming, as well as basic knowledge of Git, code structure, and debugging.
