About the Role

Vattenfall Services is Sweden's leading contracting company within the energy and electricity sector, and we are developing Sweden's energy infrastructure! As an Electrical Designer, you work on creating electrical designs for station projects, such as transformer stations and hydropower stations. This involves designing control systems, local power supplies, and relay protection. In the projects, you work together with other electrical designers as well as project managers and design managers.

Within the Technology business area, you become part of a competence network of approximately 190 engineers across the country. Here you have the opportunity to develop, share knowledge, and work with cutting-edge technology. Travel may occur in the role to visit stations.

Examples of tasks included in the role:

  • Prepare complete electrical designs
  • Perform design adjustments
  • Opportunities for design leadership

Requirements

We are looking for you who have strong analytical skills and thrive on solving complex problems. You have solid knowledge in the field and are happy to share your expertise with your colleagues. Taking responsibility for a task and driving the work forward together with the design team is second nature to you. Since the role involves handling advanced issues, it is important that you are structured in your working method.

We know you will develop together with us. However, we would like you to already have:

  • Post-secondary education in electrical power or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in designing control systems for switchgear or hydropower stations
  • Experience in configuring relay protection is an advantage
  • Good knowledge of Elprocad and/or Elmaster
  • Good IT and computer skills
  • Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
  • Valid driver's license (Category B)
