Job Responsibilities

As a yard jockey/ranger at Dagab, your main tasks will include:

• Loading and unloading trucks and trailers.
• Operating a forklift to move pallets and cages.
• Reversing with trucks and trailers.

The position is based at Dagab's warehouse in Hisings Backa.

NOTE: This position does not involve distribution or long-distance driving.

Working Hours

Dagab operates seven days a week during the night. The position involves night shifts, but there may be opportunities to work other hours in the future.

You will have a rolling schedule, working an average of 32 hours per week.

• 20:15 - 05:00 (Monday - Friday)
• 22:15 - 05:00 (Tuesday - Friday)

The job begins with two weeks of paid training, with one week scheduled for evenings and the other for nights.

Start date is by agreement.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience in yard jockeying or as a CE truck driver.
• Thrives in a physical and active work environment.

Requirements

• Forklift license
• CE driving license
• Valid CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• ADR 1.3 certificate
• Forklift training, workplace induction, safety rules, safety briefings, and other instructions are conducted in Swedish, meaning you must have a good command of the Swedish language.
• You must be at least 18 years old to be employed in this position.

We use the Verifieras control tool to ensure that current candidates do not have a background incompatible with the position.

Merits

• Rear liftgate certificate
• Experience with forklift operation
• Experience working as a CE driver/similar role
• Experience with reversing trailers (CE license required).

Personal Qualities

In this role, it is important that your tasks are performed thoroughly, that you have a high level of commitment, and that you take initiative.

Since the work can be physically demanding, it is a plus if you are physically fit and can work ergonomically correctly.
