About the role

The Fall Protection department within Business Development is now looking for a Training Coordinator.

As a trainer at SSAB, you are responsible for planning, conducting, and following up on training initiatives within our operational area. You work closely with both employees and managers to ensure high quality and relevance in the training programs.

Your responsibilities include training and evaluating course participants, planning, developing, and administering courses. You will also support managers in recruiting new drivers. Additionally, you will play a key role in introducing and training course participants in our working methods at SSAB Luleå.

Initially, your training will focus primarily on cranes and forklifts. You will also have the opportunity for competence development to enable you to deliver training in more areas. In our exciting transition journey, where SSAB Luleå will begin producing fossil-free steel, competence development is a critical factor. You will therefore have an important role in contributing to the development of how we can conduct training efficiently at SSAB Luleå in the future.

Your main responsibilities

• Plan and conduct training, both physically and digitally
• Adapt training materials to the target audience and needs
• Evaluate and develop training initiatives
• Support the business in competence development matters
• Conduct workshops, introductions, and seminars

About you

• Experience in training and mentoring others
• Strong pedagogical skills and experience speaking in front of groups
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English
• Ability to work in a structured and independent manner
• Experience with digital tools or experience in creating training materials is an advantage
• Experience in the industrial sector is an advantage
