Do you want to work with technology and maintenance in a future-oriented industry that makes a real difference for the climate? At Lantmännen Biorefineries, we are now looking for a driven electrician who wants to work broadly within automation, electrical systems, and instrumentation. With us, you become part of an engaged team – where sustainability, innovation, and high technical standards are in focus.
What you will do
As an Electrician, you are a central part of our maintenance team and work closely with both mechanics, operations personnel, and electrical maintenance engineers. We are a process industry with an exciting and advanced process featuring a wide variety of electronics. The role involves work within automation, electrical systems, and instrumentation.
In your role, you are responsible for troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance of the technical equipment in production, including new installations as well as both preventive and emergency interventions during operational disruptions. The role also implies that you may, over time, take responsibility for planning, ordering, and order management in collaboration with the maintenance engineer.
You work to ensure high availability and operational safety in our production process. The tasks also include participation in projects.
Since health and safety come first with us, it is important that you are risk-aware. You identify and help find solutions for areas of improvement and are proactive in raising safety and contributing to a good working environment at our facility.
You have:
- Upper secondary education or vocational higher education (YH) with a focus on electricity/automation
- A few years of experience as an electrician, with experience working as an electrician in the process industry being an advantage
- Experience working in maintenance systems
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English
You are:
- A problem solver who efficiently analyzes obstacles to move forward
- Service-oriented and appreciates collaboration with colleagues
- Flexible and able to adapt to different types of technology
- Well-organized with good ability to analyze, plan, and drive your work forward
- Risk-aware and proactively contributes to a safe working environment and facility
You share our values: Openness, Holistic View, and Drive, and our pledge to take responsibility from farm to fork.
What we offer you
At Lantmännen Biorefineries, you get the opportunity to develop your professional skills and contribute your competence throughout the entire production chain. Here, every employee plays an important role in the whole. At the same time, we are part of a large international group – Lantmännen – which means access to internal development opportunities and career paths within several industries and countries.
We work actively with internal mobility and want our employees to feel both engagement and security in their work. Together we make a difference – Together we reimagine the world of grain!
Does this sound interesting?
We hope so! You apply for the position online, preferably as soon as possible but no later than August 20th. In your application, you have the opportunity to attach your CV or LinkedIn profile.
For a more objective and inclusive recruitment process, we do not accept cover letters but instead ask you to answer selection questions that are relevant to the position.
As a final candidate, a background check will be conducted via our provider ToFindOut, as well as an alcohol and drug test via our occupational health care. If you have questions regarding the position or the recruitment process, you are warmly welcome to contact Daniel Wittlåck, Maintenance Manager Kimstad, at [email protected]. Please note that the advertisement will remain active during the summer. Since several employees are on vacation, it may be harder to get answers to questions, and response times may therefore be longer than usual.
We look forward to your application!
