Ecochange has more than 20 years of continuous experience in offering cost-neutral, convenient, secure, and advantageous employee benefit solutions to both public sector clients and the private sector. The founders invented the concept of the benefit bike and have since delivered bicycles in a safe and simple manner. Today, over 200,000 customers use Ecochange, making the company a market leader with several long-term collaborations and customer contracts. Ecochange has been owned by Storskogen AB for some time, ensuring long-term sustainability and development.
Ecochange is the leading provider of benefit bikes in Sweden. We collaborate with Swedish and international quality brands such as Crescent, Sjösala, Monark, Cargobike, and Bianchi. As a provider, our focus is always on quality, service, sustainability, security, and satisfied customers. We are now looking for a bicycle mechanic with primary responsibility for ensuring that our returned bicycles are 100% ready before they go back onto the market.
About the Role
As a bicycle mechanic with us, you will become a key person in the operations. You will be responsible for the daily running of our workshop and work independently to receive, troubleshoot, repair, and service both regular bicycles and e-bikes. The workshop and warehouse are located directly adjacent to our headquarters in Norrköping, meaning you are a natural part of the team and the social community. At the same time, you have great freedom to plan and drive your own work.
The role includes among other things:
- Service, repair, and completion of bicycles.
- Receiving and handing out bicycles.
- Photographing and documenting bicycles and registering discrepancies in our business system.
- Creating order and structure in the warehouse (approx. 300 sqm) to facilitate your work.
- Ensuring that the right spare parts and materials are on site.
- Participating in events and product demonstrations as needed.
During quieter periods, there are good opportunities to develop routines and working methods. If you wish to develop in the role, we see that you can eventually take on greater responsibility for contact with our service partners around the country, as well as greater administrative and economic responsibility for your warehouse and workshop.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for you who are a "fixer" with a genuine interest in bicycles and technology. You don't need to know everything from the start – we ensure you get the right training, especially regarding e-bikes.
We believe that you:
- Have experience working with bicycles, preferably both regular bikes and e-bikes.
- Are practical, solution-oriented, and quality-conscious.
- Have good computer skills and feel comfortable documenting and working in different systems.
- Are structured and enjoy creating order and tidiness.
- Are self-reliant and appreciate freedom under responsibility.
- Preferably have a B driver's license.
What We Offer
With us, you get a varied role with significant personal responsibility and the opportunity to influence. You will become an important part of the operations and join an exciting development journey where the role can gradually grow. You will receive a thorough introduction and work during the first few months together with the mechanic who currently supports the operations via our service partner. This gives you good prerequisites for getting into the role.
Our high season is between March and October, when the pace is higher. During the rest of the year, there is more room for development work within the workshop, warehouse, and service.
