About the Position
The Swedish Armed Forces' Technical and Maintenance Command Logistics (TVK Log) is looking for an engaged and meticulous Quality Handler for the Management Section, who wants to help strengthen our quality work. About the Unit
TVK Log is a central actor within the Swedish Armed Forces' logistics management. We are responsible for ensuring that supplies and materiel are available and meet the needs of combat units – in peace, crisis, and war. This also means we create the prerequisites required for the Swedish Armed Forces' endurance, in areas such as fuel, food, and ammunition.
The unit consists of approximately 120 employees with broad competence in technology, logistics, and management. TVK Log consists mainly of civilian personnel with an even distribution between women and men. The leadership is located in Boden, but we are represented in several locations across the country. Our work is based on trust, collaboration, and a clear mission – to enable available combat units through the right materiel at the right time.
Main Responsibilities
As a Quality Handler at the Management Section, you contribute to creating the prerequisites for efficient defense logistics. In this role, you are responsible for coordinating, developing, and following up on the unit's quality work, as well as driving improvement and development initiatives within the operations. The work is carried out both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues within the unit as well as within the combat units.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Develop, implement, and manage quality processes and routines
- Follow up, analyze, and report on quality results
- Handle deviations and coordinate improvement measures
- Plan and conduct internal audits
- Provide support and advice to managers and employees on quality matters
- Ensure that operations are conducted in accordance with current legislation, regulations, and standards
Requirements
Qualifications
- A university or college degree relevant to the position, or equivalent competence acquired in another way that the employer deems equivalent.
- Documented experience of quality work within the public sector or larger organizations
- Good knowledge of quality management systems and process-based working methods.
- Valid driver's license (Category B).
Personal Attributes
As a person, you have excellent collaboration skills while also being able to work independently. You are development-oriented, proactive, and take initiative. The position requires good analytical skills and a well-developed ability to see the big picture. You are communicative and pedagogical, and skilled at expressing yourself both verbally and in writing in Swedish and English. You will have significant responsibility for solving assigned tasks, which requires you to be able to prioritize and work in a structured manner. Personal suitability will be given great weight.
Merits
- Completed education in ISO standards, such as ISO 9001
- Documented experience of management systems according to ISO standards
- Certification in quality management, internal auditing, and/or project management.
- Good knowledge of risk management and internal control and governance
- Documented experience of internal or external auditing.
Other Information
The position is a permanent full-time civil service position. A six-month probationary period applies to those who are not already permanently employed within the Swedish Armed Forces.
Work Location: Boden
Travel in connection with the work occurs.
Start Date: As soon as possible or according to agreement.
