To our client Siemens Energy, a leading global player in the energy industry, we are now looking for a Project Forwarder for an assignment at their site in Finspång.

Thanks to high-tech and innovative product development, the company is an established partner within the energy sector, delivering advanced and sustainable solutions for the market's current and future needs.

Through this assignment, you will have the opportunity to work in an international and forward-looking environment with many development possibilities.

This is initially a consulting assignment of approximately 12 months via Unik Resurs, with very good opportunities for extension.

We apply rolling selection, which means the assignment may be filled earlier than the last application date.

Tasks and Responsibilities

As a Project Forwarder, you will become a key person in customer projects where you are responsible for transport and logistics solutions from order initiation to final delivery. You work closely with customers, suppliers, and internal functions to ensure efficient, cost-controlled, and high-quality deliveries worldwide.

A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Project Forwarder, you are responsible for transport-related issues within specific customer projects. Each project has unique conditions regarding delivery terms, destinations, customs handling, and logistics concepts, making the role both varied and developmental.

You function as a sub-project manager within forwarding and collaborate closely with transport suppliers, customers, procurement, project management, and other internal stakeholders. The role also involves economic responsibility where you procure transport solutions, monitor costs, and ensure deliveries take place according to both budget and schedule.

How You Will Make an Impact

• Responsible for sub-project management within transport and forwarding.
• Plan and develop transport strategies that ensure on-time deliveries according to customer requirements.
• Procure transports, negotiate contracts, and monitor delivery costs.
• Collaborate with customers, carriers, suppliers, and internal project teams.
• Ensure correct transport and customs documentation in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Identify and solve logistical challenges during the projects with a focus on quality, economy, and customer satisfaction.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who has:

• Relevant university education in logistics, supply chain, or equivalent, or alternatively several years of experience in import/export and international logistics.
• Experience with international transports, customs handling, and delivery terms.
• Experience in procurement and contract work is meritorious.
• Experience in project management or resource coordination is meritorious.
• Very good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office. Experience with SAP is meritorious.
• Additional language skills, such as Spanish, German, or Russian, are a plus.
