Your Role

Tooling Center is a newly established organization within Fighter Production, responsible for the entire flow – from customer orders, industrialization, and production to verification and delivery of complete tools. The operations also include calibration, repair, modification, and maintenance of tools. Our customers are primarily within Aeronautics but also in other business areas.

As a Production/Purchasing Planner, you play a central role in ensuring an efficient and balanced production flow. You are responsible for planning and coordinating the organization's resources and material supply to meet customer needs and operational delivery requirements.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Responsible for production planning and workshop capacity by creating and following up on production schedules.
• Ensure material availability through MRP planning and purchasing planning.
• Work with parameter setting and optimization of planning systems to create efficient material and production flows.
• Monitor and address deviations to ensure an efficient production flow.
• Participate in improvement work focused on planning processes, delivery precision, and resource efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with production, purchasing, industrialization, and other functions to ensure a well-functioning flow.

Your Profile

To succeed in the role, we see that you:

• Are analytical, structured, and have good ability to prioritize in an operation with many parallel activities.
• Are proactive, initiative-taking, and have a solution-oriented approach to work.
• Have good collaboration skills and thrive with many contact surfaces both internally and externally.
• Have experience in production planning, material planning, or a corresponding role.
• Have a good understanding of MRP processes and experience working in business systems.
• Have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

It is meritorious if you have education in logistics or equivalent, experience from Purchasing/Production, and good knowledge of Excel.

Great emphasis will be placed on your personal qualities and experiences. We would like you to have experience from the manufacturing industry and an interest in developing processes and working methods with a focus on delivery security, quality, and efficiency.

You will become part of Aeronautics Fighter Production and the Tooling Center area, which work with a strong focus on delivery and quality as well as creating a safe and attractive workplace where our employees thrive and develop.

The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to current security clearance regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
