Do you want to work in a quality-driven role where you ensure that suppliers and materials meet high quality and regulatory requirements? We are now looking for a Quality Engineer for our client in Karlshamn who wants to become an important part of the quality organization.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

In this role, you are responsible for supplier approval as well as the approval of raw materials, process aids, and packaging materials. You work to ensure that suppliers and materials meet internal quality requirements as well as current legislation and regulatory requirements, primarily within the food industry, but also in areas such as animal feed, pharmaceuticals, and cosmetics. You will have many internal contacts and collaborate closely with, among others, procurement, QA, and technical product managers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for the approval of suppliers as well as raw materials, process aids, and packaging materials.
• Review and evaluate supplier documentation, such as questionnaires, specifications, and declarations.
• Drive and administer supplier and material approval in internal quality systems.
• Conduct risk assessments together with procurement, QA, and technical product managers.
• Ensure that suppliers and materials meet internal quality requirements as well as regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of quality processes related to supplier approval.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO:

• Have experience and knowledge within food safety or other regulated activities.

It is not a requirement, but it is meritorious if you have:

• Understanding of relevant EU legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with supplier approval, document review, or risk assessments is meritorious.

ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT:

This is a consultancy assignment at 80% for 6 months, which means that you will be employed by Friday during this period.
