We are now looking for CNC operators for our unique production of the latest technology in submarines and surface ships, at one of the world's most modern shipyards.

Your role

As a CNC operator, you will work within one of the following disciplines:

• Milling
• Horizontal Boring
• Vertical Boring

The work involves job lot machining, new manufacturing, and you will be responsible for programming, setup, and operation of machines, as well as quality assurance according to drawings.

The work covers both large components and one-off manufacturing. Sometimes the assignment includes repairing or modifying existing components.

You will become part of a competent team where collaboration, precision, and technical expertise are crucial for the final result.

To succeed in the role, we see that you are cooperative, solution-oriented, and meticulous.

Requirements

• CNC education
• Previous experience working with one of the aforementioned machine types
• Good knowledge of reading technical drawings
• Experience in setting up and rigging machines
• Experience in machining large components
• Experience with Mazatrol
• Experience with Heidenhain
• Experience with CAM preparation
• Experience in one-off manufacturing is an advantage
• Ability and willingness to work in two-shift patterns

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to current security clearance regulations. For positions where Saab requires security class placement, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
