Bar Manager – Kappa Bar Gävle

Kappa Bar Gävle is now looking for an engaged and driven Bar Manager who wants to take responsibility for the daily operations of our bar and be a key figure in the business.

At our venue, restaurant, sports, gaming, and events are combined in a social meeting place where service, quality, and experiences are in focus.

Responsibilities

As Bar Manager, you are responsible for the daily operations of the bar and work both operationally and administratively. The role includes, among other things:

• Lead and distribute daily work tasks in the bar.
• Ensure high service standards and guest satisfaction.
• Introduce, train, and coach bar staff.
• Be responsible for scheduling and staffing.
• Plan and execute product orders as well as inventory management.
• Ensure that routines for self-control, hygiene, and responsible alcohol service are followed.
• Work actively with sales, profitability, and cost control.
• Participate in the development of the drink menu, campaigns, and events.
• Work operationally in the bar together with the rest of the staff.

We are looking for you who

• Have experience working in bars and restaurants.
• Have experience in a leadership role, such as bar manager, head waiter, restaurant manager, or team leader.
• Are service-oriented, responsible, and solution-oriented.
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
• Have good teamwork skills and natural leadership abilities.
• Have good knowledge of Swedish or English.

Additional qualifications include experience in:

• Inventory and ordering.
• Scheduling and personnel responsibility.
• POS systems and restaurant administration.
• Gaming, sports, or event operations.
