Your Role

In the role of Mechanic, you will work with repairs, modifications, and maintenance of aircraft components within the framework of our operational licenses. Today, we perform component maintenance on various aircraft types such as DHC-8, AT-802, MU2, Learjet 35, Saab 2000, and 340. The work is highly varied and covers everything from light maintenance to deck replacement, blasting, non-destructive testing, painting, and maintenance/repair of batteries.

We offer excellent opportunities for personal development within component maintenance, as the work includes, among other things, non-destructive testing, hydraulics, advanced modifications, and repairs of aircraft and components.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who have experience working with component maintenance, industry, or a similar field. As a person, you have the ability to take personal responsibility and initiative to ensure delivery to the customer. We also believe that you are flexible and have a good ability to work both independently and in a team. The work requires you to be detail-oriented and have a developed awareness of quality and safety. Personal suitability is highly valued.

We also look for you to have:

• Some form of mechanical/practical upper secondary or post-secondary education.
• A few years of experience in manufacturing industry.
• The ability to follow regulations and instructions and a aptitude for working with your hands.
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• A valid driver's license (Category B).

It is meritorious to have a background as an aircraft mechanic or experience with component maintenance and/or experience working in a Part 145 aircraft maintenance organization.

The position is located in Nyköping, and working hours are during the day. Business travel to other locations may occur.

The position requires you to undergo and pass the security clearance process according to current regulations. For positions at Saab, requirements for security classification may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
