Your Role as Overhead Line Project Engineer

As an Overhead Line Project Engineer at Vinnergi, you will play a key role in developing the electricity grid of the future. You will work on the design of overhead lines within regional networks and gradually develop towards higher voltage levels alongside some of the industry's most experienced colleagues.

We are looking for you who have experience with overhead line projects in local networks and want to take the next step in your career. Here, you will have the opportunity to build on your technical competence and work on larger and more complex projects within regional networks.

In this role, you will work on technical design, preparing documentation, and developing technical solutions for both new construction and reconstruction of overhead lines. You will collaborate closely with project managers, designers, estimators, and customers to create sustainable and efficient solutions for future energy supply.

You will become part of a competent team based in Växjö, Jönköping, or Linköping. There is a strong desire here to develop both the business and each other, and you will have good opportunities to grow alongside the role and the projects.

Who Are You?

We are looking for you who have experience in design, estimation, or other technical roles related to overhead lines in local or regional networks. You have likely worked a few years in the electricity industry and feel ready to develop towards more complex projects and higher voltage levels.

It is meritorious if you have experience with design in regional networks or work with voltage levels above 24 kV, but this is not a requirement. The most important thing is that you have a strong technical foundation, an interest in power lines, and a desire to continue developing.

We would appreciate it if you have an education in electricity or a related field, or alternatively, have built equivalent competence through work experience.

As a person, you are curious, responsible, and structured. You thrive when collaborating with others and have an easy time building good relationships with both customers and colleagues. You are solution-oriented, communicative, and enjoy developing together with others.

You communicate fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing. A B-class driver's license is required.
