Healthcare at the Social Services Administration has evolved. We have more employees in the operation, and to strengthen patient safety, we are now expanding with a managerial responsibility for the Medical Responsible for Rehabilitation.
Here you will have a key role in developing quality and patient safety within the rehabilitation and habilitation area, while also being a close support to the operations. You work in an organization where your contribution makes a concrete difference for people's opportunities for independence and a functioning daily life.
Your responsibilities
As the Medical Responsible for Rehabilitation, you have strategic and overall responsibility for ensuring that the municipal rehabilitation and habilitation operations are conducted in accordance with current laws, regulations, and national strategies and action plans.
You develop and follow up on guidelines and working methods related to rehabilitation, habilitation, and assistive devices, and you work systematically with patient safety within your area of responsibility.

The assignment also involves cooperation with colleagues within Halmstad Municipality and other municipalities in the county.
In the assignment, you are expected to contribute to developing structures and working methods that strengthen quality and ensure that rehabilitation, habilitation, and assistive device management are carried out in a safe and appropriate manner while maintaining high quality. You are an important link between operations, the profession, and management, and you drive issues both strategically and operationally.
As the Medical Responsible for Rehabilitation, you will be responsible for and lead a work group with associated managerial tasks regarding personnel, working environment, economy, and budget. Your staff group will consist of nurses at the health and medical care unit.
Requirements:
- University or college education as a registered occupational therapist or registered physiotherapist.
- Several years of experience in the profession.
- Good knowledge of current legislation within the healthcare sector.
- Valid driver's license (Category B).
Merits:
- Experience working in municipal healthcare.
- Experience with quality and patient safety work.
- Experience working as the Medical Responsible for Rehabilitation.
- Experience working in LSS (Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) operations.
- Leadership experience.
We are looking for you who have a structured approach and can plan and drive issues forward even when conditions change. You are communicative and have an easy time building trusting relationships within the organization. You have integrity in your assignment and can make well-founded decisions based on legislation and the profession. At the same time, you are flexible and solution-oriented, and thrive in a role where you get to combine development work with support for operations. You have a strategic vision but are also close to the practical issues of everyday life.

In addition, we offer, among other things, wellness benefits, favorable bike schemes, gym access, health inspirers, and a health conversation the year you turn 40, so that you feel good and have the stamina for the long term.
During your first months, you will undergo distance education within the profession and in leadership to get a good foundation.
