The Social Services Administration is now looking for a medically responsible nurse who wants to be involved from the start. Here you get a strategic assignment with great impact, while staying close to the operations and supporting managers and employees. Your responsibilities
As a medically responsible nurse, you are responsible for ensuring that the healthcare provided maintains good and safe quality and complies with current laws and regulations. You develop, implement, and follow up on guidelines, routines, and delegations, while systematically working with deviations, Lex Maria, and self-controls. You support operational managers in medical matters and actively contribute to quality and patient safety work. The role also involves being a clear support and guide for nurses in the operations and creating conditions for safe and legally secure care. The role includes quality work, and you will drive development issues and work with routines in the operations.
In the assignment, you are expected to contribute to developing and securing the quality of the entire operation, strengthening patient safety, and acting as a clear link between operations and patients. You are an active part of the management group and drive issues at both strategic and operational levels, with the goal of creating sustainable structures and ways of working.
Your qualifications
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- Further education as a District Nurse
- Several years of experience working as a nurse
- Good knowledge of current legislation within the healthcare sector
- Valid driver's license (Category B)
Merits:
- Experience working within municipal healthcare
- Experience in quality and patient safety work
- Experience working as a medically responsible nurse
- Experience working within LSS (Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) operations

We will verify the validity of your license with the National Board of Health and Welfare through the Register of Licensed Health and Social Care Personnel and personnel with proof of the right to use the occupational title assistant nurse (HOSP) - National Board of Health and Welfare, and also check if there are any ongoing cases with the IVO (Authority for Health and Care Welfare).
