About the Role
We are looking for an experienced project manager who wants to drive our largest projects. In this role, you are responsible for your projects and for leading and developing your project organization to achieve the best possible results. About the Role
As a Project Manager, you are responsible for leading and delivering large projects in the size range of 50 M SEK up to 1,000 M SEK. You work with turnkey contracts that include earthworks, construction, procurement, design, installation, and commissioning, with the responsibility to drive the project to completion on time and with high quality. At your disposal are deputy project managers, site managers, field technicians, and internal support functions. Organizationally, you belong to our business area "Stations Projects South North".
Your main areas of responsibility include:
- Planning and execution of the project
- Leadership and steering of the project team
- Responsible for the financial outcome of the projects as well as handling closures and financial follow-ups
- Inform and report on the project status to the client
- Participate in construction meetings and negotiations with the customer
- Risk management
- Reporting and documentation of the project's progress
The work involves a strong focus on safety, progress, engagement, and quality. In the role of Project Manager, you will primarily work from your office, but you will also be out on site. Travel is a natural part of the job. Those working on larger projects often travel longer distances where overnight stays occur.
Requirements
To be successful in the role, you have the ability to create strong collaborations and set the direction. You solve problems that arise and are accustomed to handling risks and unexpected situations. As a leader, you create engagement through participation, and you have the ability to set structure to achieve both sub-goals and overall goals. Finally, you are business-minded with good entrepreneurship, but would never let profitability come before safety.
We know that you will develop together with us. But we would like you to already have:
- Several years of experience in leading and delivering large projects
- Experience from the electricity industry
- Experience from the contracting industry
- Experience with customer and supplier relations
- Experience with contracting law and contract negotiations
- Valid driver's license (Category B) is a requirement
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
