Your Responsibilities

You will become part of an expanding engineering department where you will work on the development of Brokk's series-produced machines – the very backbone of our operations. The focus is on developing smart, stable, and standardized solutions used in many machines and making a real difference for our customers. The work involves programming, creating functional descriptions, and verifying new solutions. You will be involved both when we develop new machine models and when we create new features to be used across the entire product range. Occasionally, you will also work on more specially tailored solutions. What makes this role special is the proximity to the product. Much of the development is tested internally here, meaning you get the opportunity to operate the machines yourself and see how your solutions work in reality. Decision-making paths are short, and you have great opportunities to influence both your work and the development of the products.

Your Profile

We believe you have experience in programming, automation, or control systems. Perhaps you currently work as a software developer and are curious about applying your skills in a new context. Experience with machinery is an advantage, but not a requirement. We are not necessarily looking for the next great innovator. We are looking for you who like to create thoughtful solutions, develop what already works well, and take responsibility for making the products even better. As a person, you are non-hierarchical, collaborative, and enjoy understanding how things really work. You are attracted by the opportunity to broaden your technical competence and learn more about the interplay between software, hydraulics, and electrical systems. Above all, you appreciate working closely with both colleagues and the product in an environment where ideas can quickly be turned into reality.
