YOUR ROLE

As a Logistics Coordinator, you are responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring the port's cargo flows. You work on planning quay occupancy, storage, and transshipment based on arrivals, capacity, and the business's needs. A key part of the assignment is to create structure and overview so that cargo is handled efficiently, safely, and according to plan.

You have a coordinating role where you work closely with customers, cargo owners, shipping lines, agents, and the port's operational activities. Together, you ensure that the planning works in practice and that deliveries, storage, and transshipment are carried out smoothly. You have ongoing contact with the Operations Manager and contribute to planning resources and efforts based on current arrivals and cargo volumes.

In the role, you are also responsible for documentation and follow-up related to cargo flows and arrivals, as well as administration regarding employee working hours. You are responsible for our digital systems in this area. When new customers or increased volumes are added, you are involved in developing working methods and logistics flows together with the operations. This gives you great opportunities to influence both how the work is conducted and how the port develops forward.

YOUR COMPETENCE AND EXPERIENCE

We are looking for you who have experience in logistics or transport planning and are accustomed to working structuredly in administrative and digital systems. You have an understanding of how planning, coordination, and follow-up contribute to efficient cargo flows and a well-functioning business.

To be relevant for the role, you need:

• Education or other experience within logistics, forwarding, supply chain.
• Experience in logistics or transport planning.
• Good administrative skills and ability to work in digital systems and Excel.
• Good ability to communicate in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to switch to English when needed.
• Valid driver's license (Category B).

If you also have experience from port, maritime, or terminal operations, we consider it an advantage. The same applies to experience in customer dialogue, cargo flows within industry or bulk, and work in systems such as Sipal or Grieg.
