We are currently looking for a Mechanic for our depot in Akalla, where you will work with advanced service, maintenance, and repair of our entire fleet. About the role of Mechanic

As a mechanic, you are responsible for advanced service, maintenance, and repair of our entire fleet, both on-site and at customer locations when needed. This ranges from handheld tools and construction machinery to heavy equipment. You diagnose and fix technical faults and work with complex systems such as hydraulics, combustion engines, and machine electronics. At the same time, you contribute to knowledge transfer and support your colleagues' development. You perform reconditioning, functional checks, and prepare equipment for handover. The role also includes administrative tasks, documentation, and collaboration with colleagues at the depot regarding spare parts orders.

We are looking for you who

We are looking for someone who thrives in a role where service, technology, and collaboration are in focus. As a person, you are responsible, quality-conscious, and service-oriented. You have the ability to work in a structured and solution-oriented manner, while being motivated by developing others and contributing to smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Upper secondary education in Vehicle and Transport or Industrial Technology, or equivalent.
• Experience working with construction equipment and heavy machinery.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, combustion engines, and machine electronics.
• Knowledge of mechanical engineering.
• Experience in troubleshooting, diagnostics, and technical reporting.
• Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Category B driver's license.

Merits

• Category C/CE driver's license.
• Forklift license.
• Knowledge of welding, forging, sheet metal, and painting.
• Training and certification in fall protection, safe lifting, scaffolding, and lifts.
