Within the Infrakraft Group, we have gathered nearly 700 of Sweden's leading experts in railway, road construction, and civil engineering works, making us one of the most sought-after players in the industry. We know from personal experience that the best way to achieve success in our operations is to provide excellent opportunities for driven individuals. We are therefore looking for colleagues with their own ideas who want the freedom and opportunity to develop their careers together with some of the best entrepreneurs in the industry!

In 2024, we launched the assignment Basic Maintenance of the Stockholm Central Railway Infrastructure, an ABT 06 total contract covering the stretch from Ulriksdal to Älvsjö, including the City Line. The project covers a total of 128,358 meters of track and is one of Sweden's busiest railway sections where long-distance, regional, freight, and commuter trains share the tracks. Currently, we have approximately 40 employees, including site management, working on the project.

About the role: We are now looking for a certified thermite welder for our assignment Basic Maintenance Stockholm Central. Do you want to work in one of Sweden's busiest railway areas together with a competent and cohesive team? Then this could be your next challenge. As a track welder with us, you will work with rail and switch component replacements, but also participate in other types of work such as sleeper replacements and measures for inspection remarks as needed, with a focus on safety and quality. Your workday will include both emergency and planned maintenance, meaning varying tasks, work environment, and hours. You will work together with a skilled team to ensure that our railway systems run smoothly and safely.

We are looking for you who:

  • Are a certified thermite welder (welding method 71, SKV-Elit)

  • Have experience with track welding within the railway sector

  • Hold a valid driver's license (Category B)

  • Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

You will perform welding work according to specified specifications and standards. Certification as a repair welder (welding method 111) is considered an asset. It is important that you follow safety regulations and participate in safety training. Collaborate with colleagues to optimize work and minimize downtime.

As a person, you are meticulous, responsible, and have good teamwork skills. You should be solution-oriented and comfortable with a job that involves both independent work and team collaboration.

Application You apply via the "Send Application" button. We do not accept applications sent only via email. All applications are processed on an ongoing basis, which means the position may be filled before the final application date. We place great importance on personal qualities.

If you have questions about the position, you can contact Joar Sandström, Site Manager Stockholm Central, via email [email protected]. If you have questions about the recruitment process, you can contact Cecilia Ångman, HR Specialist, via email [email protected].

We strive to be an attractive employer and provide equal opportunities for all, and our staff composition should reflect society at large; therefore, women and men of different ages and backgrounds are warmly welcome to join us.
