About Samhall

In Sweden, 250,000 people with disabilities are without work. This is why Samhall exists – to create meaningful jobs for those who are outside the labor market. Our vision is "A labor market where everyone is seen as an asset," and we believe that you, reading this, feel as strongly about these words as we do. For us, inclusion and development are at the core of everything we do. Regardless of where you work within our organization, our purpose is highly present, and accessibility and the belief that all people have competence act as our compass and driving force.

We are 24,000 employees strong, including approximately 1,500 managers and specialists, with operations across the country. Together, we work for a more inclusive labor market that benefits individuals, organizations, and society at large.

Welcome to Samhall!

The Role of Area Manager

Being an Area Manager at Samhall means being at the absolute center of our operations. You lead a group of employees working in various customer assignments, and your primary goal is to provide your employees with the opportunity to discover and develop their skills, so that in the long term they can leave Samhall for another employer.

In your daily work, you also have extensive contact with your customers and ensure that everything runs smoothly. Through good relationships, you also develop the business and find opportunities for more jobs for Samhall's employees.

Creating conditions for the development of our employees and ensuring customer satisfaction is the very core of our mission as a company. Therefore, all efforts are directed towards creating the platform for you as an Area Manager.

What do we offer you?

As an Area Manager, you begin your development journey with us in our own Samhall School, where you are offered one of Sweden's best leadership programs. Here, you develop as a leader regardless of previous experience, and you also build specific knowledge in several areas, including leading people with disabilities.

You become part of a large company with 24,000 employees and are surrounded by over 800 colleagues nationwide who hold the same role as you. Here, you have a national network while locally being part of a district where you have your closest colleagues and report to the Operations Manager. You also collaborate with various support functions locally and centrally. Samhall is undergoing important and exciting development where you, as an Area Manager, play a key role and your perspectives are valued.

What do you bring to the role?

As an Area Manager, you are operational, present, and able to make decisions with high integrity. Having experience from and thriving in a business characterized by high tempo and a human-centric approach is a requirement. We also know that you are comfortable in the leadership role and have good knowledge of the tasks involved in a managerial position.

You will be responsible for customer assignments in Trollhättan and the surrounding area, which means you will be on the move frequently. We have pool cars available at our offices to assist you, which means a B-driver's license is required for the position.

At the Trollhättan office, we work towards a culture characterized by collaboration and team spirit, as this is crucial for us to reach our goals at the individual, group, and organizational levels.

Aside from solid knowledge, it is our values that make our leaders thrive and do a good job over time. Your belief in the equal value of all people, that all people have competence, and that work has great significance is what motivates you in everyday life.
