We are now looking for a psychologist for outpatient child and adolescent psychiatry (BUP) in Oskarshamn! Here, you will have the opportunity to grow in your role as a psychologist while enjoying meaningful and developing work in our newly built, modern facilities.

You will be part of the Kalmar/Oskarshamn unit. Together, the two locations have nine licensed psychologist colleagues who want you to succeed in your assignment. In our learning climate, there are excellent opportunities for further education, external supervision within CBT, PDT, family therapy, as well as assessment supervision. Your contribution to the team will play a role as we continue to develop child psychiatry together.

You will work in multidisciplinary teams with doctors, psychologists, nurses, social workers, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and secretaries. We operate from an interdisciplinary perspective, striving to always view the child/adolescent in their context.

About You

You are a licensed psychologist with an interest in specialist psychiatry. It is an advantage if you are a licensed psychotherapist and/or have specialist training in clinical psychology, neuropsychology, or psychological treatment. Furthermore, work experience within specialist psychiatry is advantageous.

The role focuses on collaboration with the goal of achieving the best treatment quality for our patients. This means that as a person, you see the value of building and maintaining good relationships with patients and colleagues. Furthermore, you possess good communication skills, enabling you to express yourself clearly and adapt your language and message to the recipient and situation.

BUP consists of outpatient clinics in Västervik, Kalmar, and Oskarshamn, as well as our inpatient care and emergency department located in Kalmar. The eating disorder units' clinics can be found in Kalmar and Västervik.
