Company Description

AFRY offers services in engineering, design, digitalization, and consulting. We are dedicated experts in industry, energy, and infrastructure, creating value for future generations. AFRY has a global reach with deep roots in the Nordics. Together, we accelerate the transition to a more sustainable society.

Job Description

Do you want to be part of a team with varying levels of experience and focus areas, where leadership and the desire to do something exciting in your career are the common factors? Then our team is for you!

As a Project Manager here, your task is to lead projects focused on industrialization for some of the market's most exciting companies. Your role is to be the link between development and production, which involves close contact with both the development department, production, and subcontractors. In your role, you help our customers act as the requirement setters for production in projects where you align concepts with manufacturing capabilities before project managing the industrialization in production. This may involve creating new production layouts, investments, or new ways of working.

The projects can be carried out at our customers' sites in the Greater Stockholm area (from Uppsala in the north to Södertälje in the south) or in our own premises in Solna. Around you, you will have many competent colleagues and an active exchange of experience. Our customers are primarily represented in the industries of Automotive, Machine Building, Defense, Pharmaceuticals, Medical Technology, and Telecommunications.

Why work with us? – Some comments from the team:

"Happy managers, happy colleagues, and the opportunity to train/develop as well as try out different customers/projects."

"You have many mentors/floating boards and coaches here."

"A diverse group with an inclusive climate, many leading women in the company."

Qualifications

You have an engineering degree in, for example, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or technical physics. You have led your own projects for at least 5 years, preferably within product-developing companies and/or in industrial projects. We would like you to have experience from both production and product development.

As a Project Manager, you drive, communicate, and provide clarity! You plan and drive both your own and others' work forward while always delivering results according to schedule. You are motivated by identifying new solutions and creating business opportunities. The successful candidate must have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. If you are not already certified according to PRINCE2 and/or PMI, you will be offered this through us.

To be eligible for this position, only Swedish citizenship is accepted.

Additional Information

We offer a workplace with forward momentum and security in the form of collective agreements, employee benefits, competence development, mentoring, and an individual career development plan – just for you!

We are a great group of project managers who socialize regularly through, among other things, "experience meetings" and parties, and there is also the opportunity to join our fantastic employee club, Club AFRY. The employee club arranges social activities on and off the office premises. Everything from ski trips, yoga lessons, choir singing, board games, to guest lectures – there is something for everyone.
