About Samhall
Samhall exists to create a more inclusive labor market where everyone is seen as an asset. Our mission is to create meaningful jobs for people with disabilities. Each year, approximately 2,000 individuals are referred to us by the Swedish Public Employment Service (Arbetsförmedlingen). We provide them with a stable platform to stand on and the opportunity to train their skills and develop their competencies. Our most important goal is that 1,500 people leave us each year for employment outside of Samhall.
No matter where you work within our organization, our mission and goals are always present. The belief that all people have competence is a compass and a driving force for all of us. We believe that you, reading this, feel just as strongly about this as we do.
We are 24,000 employees, including approximately 1,500 managers and specialists, with operations across the country. Together, we work for a more inclusive labor market that benefits individuals, organizations, and society at large.
Welcome to Samhall!
About the role
As Group Manager for Rehabilitation & LFU (Fixed-term employment), you play a central role in Samhall's first line of management, where you lead and develop employees in different phases of their working lives. The assignment covers both rehabilitation and development within employment, with a clear goal: to strengthen individuals' work capacity and create opportunities for a sustainable working life – within or outside Samhall.
You have personnel responsibility for employees in complex rehabilitation cases as well as for employees on fixed-term contracts (LFU), often younger individuals, with the goal of transitioning to another employer. You work both operationally and strategically to create the right conditions for development through job adaptation, coaching, education, and matching with the labor market.
The role also includes preventive work through pre-habilitation, where you identify needs early, strengthen work capacity, and reduce the risk of sick leave. In parallel, you actively work to establish and develop external collaborations to create opportunities for internships, work training, and employment outside Samhall.
You collaborate closely with area managers, HR, and other support functions, and maintain regular contact with external actors such as the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, the Swedish Public Employment Service, and private sector employers. The role involves many contact points and requires a high degree of structure, collaboration, and continuity in follow-up.
We offer you
At Samhall, you have the opportunity to develop in a leadership role that combines operational responsibility with specialist knowledge in rehabilitation and labor market initiatives.
You will become part of an experienced network of colleagues and specialists where knowledge sharing and joint development are a natural part of the work. At the same time, you contribute to a clear social mission where your work makes a concrete difference in people's opportunities to establish themselves in working life.
Your contribution
You are a secure and present leader with experience in personnel responsibility and a structured approach to work. You create clarity in everyday life, make decisions with integrity, and build trusting relationships both internally and externally.
You are motivated by developing people and have the ability to adapt your leadership style based on the individual's needs and conditions. Through clear and communicative leadership, you create engagement, involvement, and a good collaborative climate.
You have experience working with complex individual cases and are accustomed to handling documentation, follow-up, and collaboration with several actors. At the same time, you have a business-minded and relationship-building approach where you actively build networks with employers to facilitate transitions to the regular labor market.
The role involves mobile work where you regularly visit employees out in the operations.
To succeed in the role, we see that you have:
- Leadership experience with personnel responsibility
- Experience in operational work with personnel development
- Documented experience in rehabilitation, job adaptation, and preventive work
- Good knowledge of the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's regulations
- Experience collaborating with the Swedish Social Insurance Agency and the Swedish Public Employment Service
- Experience working with external employers and customer relations
- Good administrative skills and experience with documentation and follow-up
- Valid driver's license (Category B)
A background as an occupational therapist, rehabilitation coordinator, or similar is meritorious.
