In the Vingåker region, we are close to each other, nature, and a wide range of cultural and leisure activities throughout the year. Here you will find rich cultural environments, good transportation links from nearby cities, and the country's largest outlet for branded clothing. Vingåker Municipality is developing the region and public services for the future.

The Individual and Family Care in Vingåker is a forward-thinking workplace. We strive to be a dynamic, cutting-edge workplace that values our working environment. We have reorganized our workplace with a first-line reception that handles incoming applications and initial contact with individuals.

Working with us is both challenging, stimulating, and varied. We have a strong team spirit and a clear focus on our psychosocial working environment, with supportive colleagues, close access to management, and external supervision.

The workplace offers a 35-hour work week and some possibility for remote work 1 day/week if the work allows.

Today, Individual and Family Care consists of a business manager, two unit managers, three team leaders within each team, and a reception. The teams consist of:

  • Adult Unit (Financial Assistance, Elderly and Disability Care, Adults)
  • Children/Youth (Child Investigators, Foster Care Secretaries, Intervention Handlers)
  • Reception/First Line (Reception, Open Care, Support and Treatment, Administration, Interventions without needs assessment)

1 position(s).

Job Responsibilities

Do you want a central role in a operation where you make a real difference for people in need of support? We are now looking for an engaged and confident social worker for our reception function. Here, you will become an important first contact within social services and take on a responsible role in authority practice, where you meet people in different life situations. In this role, you handle cases including children and family, harmful substance use, financial assistance, and domestic violence, while also receiving applications and reports, conducting preliminary and protective assessments, and initiating investigations.

You will also prepare statements and, in some cases, application investigations. As part of a smaller unit, you will have a varied and developmental assignment in a fast-paced operation with close collaboration and great opportunities to contribute to the continued development of the reception function within IFO.

We are currently carrying out several exciting development projects based on new legislation, so it is important that you, as an applicant, want to be part of this change journey. It is an exciting phase where we renew and improve our ways of working and methods.

The assignment also includes exciting and outward-looking collaboration work where you have contact with, among others, the police, schools, community life, and other actors, as you will belong to the first-line social services. The role gives you the opportunity to work closely with both individuals and collaboration partners, be out in different contexts, and contribute to early interventions and coordinated support for those we meet.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are educated as a social worker or have another equivalent higher education, with experience in authority practice and good knowledge of relevant legislation.

Experience working in the adult area, children and family, or the substance abuse area, as well as knowledge of BBIC or Signs of Safety, is meritorious.

The role suits you who are responsible, solution-focused, and easy to collaborate with, while also being able to make well-founded decisions independently, even at a high pace.

You work in a structured, secure, and legally sound manner, have good documentation habits, and a professional approach that creates trust in the meeting with those we are there for. You take responsibility, work independently, and actively contribute to both quality, development, and a good work community.

In the reception, you will work closely with both colleagues and management in an operation where engagement, development, and collaboration are in focus. Here you get the opportunity to influence and make a real difference.

We strive for an even gender distribution. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability. A driver's license is required.

Selection and interviews take place continuously, and the recruitment may therefore be concluded before the application period ends.

Do you want to be part of making a difference in people's daily lives? You are warmly welcome to apply!
