About the role
As a driver at the Mobile Recycling Centre (Mobile RC), your base is Sofielund (Gladö), but your work covers all ownership municipalities: Salem, Botkyrka, Huddinge, Haninge, and Nynäshamn. The Mobile RC section is part of the Treatment department, where you will report to the Head of Mobile RC.
Working hours include evenings and weekends.
Your main responsibilities:
Represent SRV professionally to visitors at SRV's Mobile RC, Recycling Centres, and hazardous waste facility.
- Maintain order and ensure a safe environment for customers and colleagues.
- Receive and sort waste (including hazardous waste) for further treatment.
- Participate in the development of the Mobile RC.
Are you the right person?
We are looking for someone who has:
- A high school education or equivalent knowledge level as assessed by SRV.
- Class C driver's license.
- Good teamwork skills.
- A flexible attitude and ability to adapt to new situations and circumstances.
- The ability to work at a high pace and handle pressured situations for shorter periods.
- Good verbal and written Swedish skills.
Merits:
- Experience in service-related professions.
- YKB (Professional Competence Certificate).
- BE/CE driver's license.
- Experience in the environmental and recycling industry.
- Additional language skills.
As a driver at the Mobile RC, you will be involved in development work as the section is being established. In addition to the requirements, you are open, social, and have an easy way of connecting with people. You enjoy working outdoors and have no problem working in all weather conditions. As a person, you are service-oriented, have good teamwork skills, and a solution-oriented approach.

About SRV
SRV Recycling AB is a limited company owned by five municipalities on Södertörn: Huddinge, Haninge, Botkyrka, Salem, and Nynäshamn. The municipalities have tasked SRV with managing the collection and handling of household waste. The operations include the collection and processing of recyclable materials, fuel, and waste, as well as landfilling. We currently have approximately 270 employees, receive about 200,000 tons of waste annually, and had a turnover of 552 MSEK (2023). SRV collects waste from approximately 154,000 households in the ownership municipalities. The company also has 3,000 corporate and business customers – ranging from small and large companies to housing associations, preschools, and organizations.
SRV Recycling has a large recycling facility at Gladö Kvarn in Huddinge. The facility is the largest by area in Sweden. We also operate seven recycling centres, primarily for households, within the five ownership municipalities.
