Do you want an active part-time job where no day is the same? As a baggage handler at SAS, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced airport environment where you become a key person ensuring that passengers' luggage reaches its destination safely, on time, and with care. About the team & roleYou will work on an as-needed basis, which often involves early mornings on weekdays and weekends. You will be part of a team where collaboration is a natural part of daily life. The team works closely together and helps out where needed – always with the passenger in focus. You will receive thorough training and introduction to the work processes to ensure you feel confident in your role from day one.
As a Baggage Handler, your main task is to sort, load, and unload luggage safely and efficiently. The pace can be high and days vary, ensuring you never have a dull moment. You will work both independently and in close collaboration with your colleagues, with great responsibility for maintaining high standards in safety, punctuality, and service.
About youWe are looking for someone who is punctual, flexible, and enjoys physically active work, as you will be using your body a lot. In addition, you are stress-resistant, detail-oriented, and take responsibility in your work.
Formal requirements:
- You are at least 18 years old
- You are studying or have another main occupation of at least 50%
- You are fluent in Swedish and have good knowledge of English, both spoken and written
- You have a completed 3-year upper secondary education
- You can undergo and pass a security clearance check (no criminal record or suspicion of crime)
- You can provide references and documentation for the last five years
- You are drug-free and can undergo alcohol and drug testing without issues
- You have the ability to commute to Arlanda at all hours, every day of the week
We consider it a merit if you:
- Speak languages other than Swedish and English
- Have previous experience working in similar environments
