About the Role

As a Fiber Technician at Eddima Teknik, you work with the installation, service, and maintenance of fiber networks. You handle the entire process – from new installations and fiber splicing to service, troubleshooting, testing, and documentation – with the goal of delivering reliable and sustainable solutions.

The work is carried out both independently and in collaboration with colleagues, depending on the scope of the project. You have daily contact with customers, project managers, and other employees, becoming a key part of our work to deliver high quality in every assignment.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Fiber splicing and fiber blowing
• Troubleshooting, service, and maintenance
• Customer installations and commissioning
• Fiber testing, OTDR, and dB measurements
• Laying of ducts and customer connections – from local networks to main networks
• Documentation and reporting

Are You the One We Are Looking For?

You are someone who takes responsibility for your work and thrives when working independently. At the same time, you are a team player who values collaboration with colleagues and good customer service.

We believe you have:

• Education in electricity, telecommunications, or fiber, or equivalent experience
• At least a couple of years of experience with fiber splicing, fiber installation, and testing
• Experience with OTDR and dB measurements
• Experience with documentation and quality assurance
• Category B driver's license (Category BE is a plus)
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

As a person, you are meticulous, solution-oriented, and have a strong focus on quality. You enjoy developing yourself and see opportunities rather than obstacles.
