Do you want to work as a Operations Technician and be inspired by working in a company with a strong sustainability and environmental focus for all of Luleå?
Lumire, Luleå Miljöresurs AB, is a municipal company for water and sewage, waste management, recycling, and reuse. Lumire is owned by Luleå Municipality, and we are 230 employees ensuring that all residents of Luleå have healthy and tasty drinking water from the tap and that waste and sewage are handled in a circular manner.
By coordinating water and waste issues within the same company, we are a strong player in sustainable environmental technology and urban development.
Lumire is in an exciting phase of development and is a natural actor in the work towards the green transition and a sustainable Luleå. As an Operations Technician, you play a key role in this forward-looking work. Together, we make Luleå sustainable.
We are responsible for Luleå Municipality's water and sewage operations (VA), including new construction, operation, and maintenance of water and sewage pipes, water meters, sewage treatment plants, water works, and pumping stations. Read more here (#).

About the role
As an Operations Technician with us, you become an important part of an engaged team that, together with foremen, works with reconstruction and new construction projects, service, ongoing operation, and maintenance of our water and sewage pipes. Here, you work long-term with modern technology and equipment, as our pipes are designed to last for over 100 years.
Together with your colleagues, you are the face of the department as you perform your daily work among the residents and visitors of Luleå Municipality. You are a good ambassador, and we have high expectations of your service orientation and agility in interactions with others.
At our company, you work in a team where we help each other and learn new things together. You will receive a thorough introduction and opportunities for further education – we believe in growing into the role, not knowing everything from the start. The work takes place largely outdoors, which suits you if you enjoy practical work and appreciate seeing clear results of what you do.
Are you curious about being part of new neighborhoods growing and maintaining our water and sewage network? Then you are the right person.
Who are we looking for?

As a person, you are calm, diligent, and feel responsibility and commitment to your work and set goals. You are proactive and have an easy time creating and maintaining good relationships, both with colleagues and external parties.
We believe you have:
- Good ability to structure and plan your work and see solutions instead of problems
- Good teamwork skills
- Good communication skills
- Basic IT knowledge
- Category B driver's license
We consider it meritorious if you have:
- Experience with pipe laying and/or construction work
- Experience with excavation work
- Training in Road Safety

A safe working environment is our highest priority, which is why it is important that you understand and act according to safety instructions and regulations.
We place great importance on your personal qualities.
We offer you
We offer you an exciting and enjoyable job where you have the opportunity to contribute to a sustainable Luleå.
We value a long-term sustainable working life and strive to create conditions for a good balance between work and leisure. At our company, everyone receives a wellness allowance and the opportunity for one wellness hour per week.
