Job Description

Furuliden is a pleasant special care home located in the heart of Moheda. Following a major renovation, we are now facing the next exciting step as two new departments open at the turn of the year. We are now looking for 15 assistant nurses who want to be involved from the start.

15 positions.

This is an opportunity for you if you want to be part of building a service together with new colleagues. With us, you will help shape routines, working methods, and collaborations while contributing to the development of care quality.

As an assistant nurse, you are a key part of creating security, care, and quality of life for the elderly. You are a person who sees the individual behind the needs and meets every person with respect and warmth. In your daily work, you provide support based on each person's needs, for example:

  • Support with getting up and going to bed
  • Support during meals
  • Delegated health and medical care tasks
  • Encourage participation in and join activities

An important part of your role is to collaborate with colleagues, nurses, and other professionals at the care home. Together, you plan the day and support each other when needed, especially during more demanding shifts. You also maintain contact with relatives and contribute to creating a sense of security for them as well.

Qualifications

  • Trained as an assistant nurse or have equivalent education
  • Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
  • Engaged, solution-oriented, and responsible
  • Thrives in teamwork and wants to contribute to the development of the service

Experience in care work and knowledge of dementia are meritorious, but we welcome both those who are new to the profession and those with extensive experience.

To be considered for employment, you must provide a certificate of no criminal record (extract from the police register) for work with the elderly and persons with disabilities.
