Job Responsibilities

As a nurse, you will work at the doctor's clinic. The work at the clinic consists of telephone advice via Tele-Q and the chat Clinic24, booking appointments, as well as planned and acute clinic work. You will also perform assessments and provide self-care advice to patients seeking planned and acute care. As a district nurse, you will also work with your own clinic at our district nurse clinic. If you have training as an asthma/COPD nurse or are a certified smoking cessation counselor, there is an opportunity to have your own clinic in these areas as well.

About the Workplace

We who work at Vallås Health Center are a positive group that enjoys working together and are proud of the good cooperation between our different professions. We are curious and dare to try new ideas. We work with a focus on ensuring that every patient meeting is unique and becomes the best.

Vallås Health Center has approximately 6,300 registered patients. We have a doctor's clinic with specialists in general practice, a child health center, a district nurse clinic, and a vaccination clinic. The health center also has a physiotherapist, occupational therapist, counselor, and psychologist. Säbo, a nursing home in the area, is attached to the health center.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse or further educated district nurse. Experience working at a health center, TeleQ, or triage is meritorious but not a requirement. Knowledge and experience working in the healthcare administrative system Cosmic is highly advantageous.

You have the patient in focus and are comfortable working both independently and in a team. You are meticulous in your work and have the ability to be flexible. It is also important that you contribute to a good atmosphere in the work group and have a good and professional approach towards your colleagues and those visiting the health center. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

Good knowledge of the Swedish language – both spoken and written – is required, as well as good computer skills.
