We are looking for you, a nursing assistant, who wants to make a difference every day! At Onsala Home Care, you will work closely with people and contribute to security, quality of life, and a meaningful daily life for our care recipients.

You will become part of an engaged team where collaboration, respect, and job satisfaction are in focus. We work in a beautiful natural area, drive electric cars to our care recipients, and offer free parking. Around 40 competent colleagues work here together with two unit managers – and we look forward to welcoming you!

The role of Nursing Assistant with us

As care staff with us, you will meet people with different needs and work in their homes. It is a free and varied job where you are part of a professional work group. We work with continuity in three smaller work teams. In your role, collaboration with colleagues and home healthcare is crucial to offering high-quality care with a personal focus and a rehabilitative approach. By creating adapted implementation plans and routines for each care recipient while striving for a safe and stimulating environment for both them and your work group, you create a meaningful and enriching care experience.

You will work according to a schedule covering days, evenings, and every other weekend. You are expected to perform delegated health and medical tasks based on your position and the needs of the operations.

Your profile

As a person, you are accommodating in your approach and sensitive to your surroundings. You create new contacts as well as maintain your current work relationships. You take responsibility and drive your work forward, deliver results, and prioritize your work efficiently. You see opportunities in changes, take initiative, and suggest new approaches to work-related issues. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

We are looking for someone who:

• is a trained nursing assistant
• expresses themselves well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, as this is required in daily work
• holds a valid driver's license (Category B)

Our offer and other information

We offer a permanent full-time position with start date according to agreement.

About permanent day/evening position: The position is full-time or according to agreement. Within the Department of Care & Elderly Services, all employees within home care and care homes are employed at 100% engagement, but employees have the opportunity to reduce their engagement to the desired level based on operational needs.

Before an employment offer is made, a satisfactory extract from the police criminal record must be presented. The type of record extract to be requested is Work in the home with elderly and persons with disabilities. Background checks may be conducted before employment.

As of July 1, 2023, "nursing assistant" is a protected professional title.

Therefore, when employed as a nursing assistant, you must present proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare to use the title nursing assistant. Please apply now if you do not already have this.
