As a System Engineer in our mechanics department, you will be responsible for system design and requirements management for the ground station/Remote Pilot Station (RPS). Join a competent team focused on innovation and collaboration!
System Engineer RPS at UMS Skeldar:
You will join the Aerostructure & Installations department, a cross-functional team consisting of roles such as Mechanical Design Engineer, Stress Engineer, and Harness Design Engineer. The department's teams work closely together, so you will become part of an engaged and competent team with a family-like atmosphere.
In the role of System Engineer with a focus on the ground station, you will:
- have overall system responsibility and coherence in the design of the entire system, including radio links and control station
- work with requirements management, the entire chain from breakdown to verification and requirement closure
- collaborate closely with our subcontractors and product management
- identify and propose improvements based on functionality, manufacturability, availability, and customer benefit
- collaborate closely with colleagues both within your own and other departments, such as mechanical and software engineers, as well as production technicians
- work on continuous improvement of processes, standards, and methodologies

To succeed in this role, we see that you have a university degree in a relevant engineering field. We prefer that you have several years of experience in system design and technical leadership. Experience in the aerospace industry and electronics is an advantage.
The position requires proficiency in both English and Swedish, both spoken and written.
