Vy Buss has won a comprehensive traffic agreement and is now looking for a Business Manager in Borås. We are looking for you with drive, a business focus, and a natural desire to make things happen. You will be empowered to establish and lead a business that will become a vital part of the city's public transport for the foreseeable future.

As Business Manager, you have overall responsibility for building up, leading, and developing the operations in Borås. You are responsible for ensuring a stable, safe, and high-quality delivery according to the traffic agreement with Västtrafik, while simultaneously driving the business towards set goals for results, customer satisfaction, and sustainability.

The role combines strategic business responsibility with hands-on leadership in a 24/7 operation. You will be Vy's primary representative in the relationship with Västtrafik while building and developing the local organization with a focus on culture, performance, and engagement.

You lead the local management team, are responsible for the budget, business follow-up, and operational development, and ensure that the business is conducted efficiently and in accordance with agreements, laws, and regulations. A key part of the assignment is also to build good relationships with employees, union partners, and external stakeholders.

You are a confident and engaging leader who is motivated by building businesses, developing people, and creating results together with others. You have a good business understanding, a structured approach to work, and the ability to combine strategic thinking with operational presence. Through inclusive and communicative leadership, you create trust, engagement, and long-term relationships in a business where people are at the center.

We see that you have a university degree or equivalent experience, as well as documented experience leading larger operational and personnel-intensive businesses. You have worked with business and result responsibility, led through other managers, and been part of a management team. Furthermore, you have experience in change and development work, budget responsibility, and business management. Experience from transport, logistics, or other operations with high operational complexity is meritorious, as is experience with contract-based operations and negotiations with both customers and union partners.
