Development Manager for Data Transformation and Storage – IT Centre, Region Jönköping County

We are seeking four Development Managers responsible for data transformation and storage, analysis and visualization, leadership, follow-up and daily steering, as well as information structure. Together, you will form a team that develops Region Jönköping County's ability to work in a data-driven manner – from information and data to analysis, decision-making, and continuous improvements.

As a Development Manager for transformation and data storage, you will hold a central position in the work of developing Region Jönköping County's information supply through integrations and data platforms, enabling innovation, efficient operational development, and data-driven decisions.

The role of Development Manager for transformation and data storage

In this role, you are responsible for establishing, coordinating, and further developing Region Jönköping County's ability to collect, transform, integrate, store, and provide data from a variety of information sources.

You play a key role in ensuring that our organization has modern, robust, and sustainable platforms, architectures, and ways of working for information supply, integration, data storage, and interoperability. The role contributes to creating the prerequisites for efficient, secure, and future-proof handling of information and data.

We offer a permanent full-time position with a start date to be agreed upon.

Within the IT Centre, we support citizens, patients, and employees in Region Jönköping County with digital solutions that make a real difference. We are driven by meeting the region's need for IT services and being proactive in identifying opportunities for operational development through efficient IT solutions. The IT Centre has a consolidated responsibility for IT operations in Region Jönköping County. In close collaboration with our customers, we contribute to the development of the region's operations and support them with good IT solutions.

Your profile

We are looking for you who have a university or college education in, for example, computer technology, systems science, computer science, or IT/data architecture, or other education and experience considered equivalent.

You have documented experience in data architecture, integration, and data platforms, as well as a good understanding of how these areas create business value. You are accustomed to working in complex organizations, close to management and decision-makers, and have the ability to create engagement, build consensus, and translate strategic goals into sustainable ways of working and concrete results.

As a Development Manager for transformation and data storage, you are proactive, independent, and development-oriented. You work in a structured and solution-focused manner, thrive in changing environments, and can create progress even when the prerequisites are uncertain.

Furthermore, you have good collaboration skills, build trusting relationships, and contribute to an open and inclusive culture where dialogue, knowledge sharing, and shared responsibility are a natural part of the work. Personal suitability is given great weight.
