The Service Administration is responsible for servicing the city's operations with various services within meals, facility maintenance, laundry, student and meal transport, caretaking, service services, and warehouse management. We play an important role in creating basic conditions for core operations and a good experience in attractive environments for both children and adults. By freeing up time for core operations, primarily in schools and care, we contribute to efficient resource use.

Job Responsibilities

Are you looking for a role where you get to take responsibility, influence, and develop in an operation that makes a difference for the people of Landskrona every day? We are now looking for a Transport Planner at the Service Administration who thrives in a role where daily operations and long-term planning meet. You will be part of a team working with transport, route, and resource planning, with a focus on collaboration and continuous improvement of working methods. With us, your contribution is visible concretely in preschools, schools, and nursing homes around the city.

We currently use a simpler warehouse management system. The assignment includes contributing to the further development of system support, including the introduction of more appropriate and efficient solutions. You will also work in other operation systems used within the care operations.

The job responsibilities include among other things:

  • Plan, coordinate, and follow up on transports, routes, and resources so that the right item ends up in the right place at the right time
  • Have daily contact with suppliers, citizens, and internal operations within preschool, school, and care
  • Work with inventory levels, stocktaking, and delivery planning, as well as handle deviations
  • Analyze transport data to identify areas for improvement and streamline flows

Qualifications

Requirements for the position are:

  • Post-secondary education in transport or logistics, or alternatively other documented education combined with relevant work experience
  • Very good computer skills and administrative ability
  • Very good knowledge of Excel
  • Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish
  • B-driver's license for manual transmission

Merits:

  • Experience with warehouse systems, planning systems, or similar
  • Experience from working in public operations
  • Experience from working with transport planning or logistics
  • Experience or education in leadership
  • Multilingualism
