About the RoleYou step into a central leadership role where you will drive and develop process technology within PCBA in an advanced manufacturing environment within the defense industry. Here, you lead a section with approximately 14 employees and are responsible for creating the right conditions for efficient processes, high quality, and long-term competence development.
The role combines personnel responsibility, process responsibility, and budget responsibility with a clear focus on improvement work in a production with high variation in products and requirements. You work closely with other managers within manufacturing and production technology and are an important part of turning strategic goals into clear and well-functioning daily work.
You lead a team with broad competence in process technology for circuit boards, machine and operational responsibility, quality, and industrialization. This is a role for you who want to influence both working methods, team development, and the company's continued improvement journey in a technically complex environment.
Responsibilities- You lead, support, and develop your team in daily work and create an environment where employees can thrive, grow, and perform.
- You monitor the company's goals and KPIs regarding efficiency, budget, quality, and capacity, and drive appropriate actions based on the results.
- You ensure that the team has the right competence for current and future needs.
- You support development and production projects in matters concerning process technology.
- You drive improvements in processes, working methods, and standardization in manufacturing.
- You translate strategy and overall goals into clear priorities for the team and relevant stakeholders.
- You collaborate closely with adjacent functions within manufacturing, production technology, quality, and other business areas.
- Bachelor's degree in electronics, mechanical engineering, or another relevant field, or equivalent work experience.
- At least three years of experience leading operational activities, either with previous personnel responsibility or in a leading role for a team or project.
- Very strong analytical skills and experience in planning, executing, and following up on strategic initiatives.
- Ability to lead change and create engagement, structure, and clarity in a business with many interfaces.
- Very good ability to communicate in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
- Experience with circuit boards or electronics manufacturing.
- Experience working as a production engineer.
- Experience in process technology, production technology, and product industrialization.
- Experience with standardization in design and working to reduce variation in manufacturing.
- Experience in quality work and a good understanding of IPC standards.
