About the position

We are now looking for more personal assistants for a man in his 60s who lives centrally in Visby, within the city walls.

We are looking for you who have a good sense of humor, a kind heart, and a positive attitude towards life. You enjoy working with people and see the value in creating safe, respectful, and long-term relationships. You are a good judge of character and show curiosity and engagement while being able to adapt to the customer.

As a personal assistant, you work closely with the customer and provide support based on his individual needs and wishes. The work is primarily performed in the customer's home, but may also involve accompanying him to activities, errands, and other everyday situations.

Your tasks may include, among other things:

• Personal care
• Support in daily routines
• Mobility assistance
• Accompaniment to activities and errands
• Practical support at home

Working hours

The shifts are scheduled as two shorter shifts per day, approximately 2–3 hours at a time:

• Morning/forenoon
• Evening

We therefore appreciate it if you live in or near Visby. The position may suit you particularly well if you are studying, have another part-time job, or desire flexible employment.

• As an hourly substitute as needed

The employment begins as an hourly position, with good opportunities for a fixed schedule if the cooperation between you and the customer works well.

There is also an opportunity to combine the assignment with work for other customers, both in Visby and in other places on Gotland.

We are looking for you who

• Have experience as a personal assistant or other experience from healthcare and social care
• Are responsible, empathetic, and confident in your professional role
• Have a professional and respectful approach
• Are positive, engaged, and have a good manner of dealing with people
• Have good knowledge of Swedish, both in speech and writing
• Have the possibility to work flexibly
• Are not sensitive to or disturbed by the smell of smoke

Terms of employment

• Terms of employment according to collective agreement with Kommunal
• Individual salary setting, hourly wage according to agreement

• Valid professional license must be presented before the contract is signed
• Extract from the Police's criminal record (for work with children with disabilities) must be presented before employment
