Development Leader for Information Structure – IT Centre, Region Jönköping County

We are looking for four development leaders responsible for data transformation and data storage, analysis and visualization, leadership, follow-up and daily management, as well as information structure. Together, you will form a team that develops Region Jönköping County's ability to work in a data-driven manner – from information and data to analysis, decision-making, and continuous improvements.

As the Development Leader for Information Structure, you will play a central role in creating common structures and working methods that enable efficient information management, strengthen business development, and create prerequisites for future digital solutions.

The Role of Development Leader for Information Structure

In this role, you are responsible for establishing, coordinating, and further developing Region Jönköping County's ability to describe, structure, and ensure the quality of information in a uniform, traceable, and business-relevant manner.

You lead the development of the region's information architecture and information structure. This includes, among other things, information domains, concept models, information models, as well as methods for information quality and information governance. The role is part of the architecture function, and the work is carried out in close collaboration with the business operations and other supporting functions.

The role also involves a responsibility to translate architecture principles, governing guidelines, and requirements for information management into practical working methods, models, and structures that can be applied and used throughout the region's operations. You thereby contribute to creating prerequisites for efficient information management, increased data quality, and long-term sustainable digital development.

We offer a permanent full-time position with a start date as agreed.

Within the IT Centre, we support citizens, patients, and employees in Region Jönköping County with digital solutions that make a real difference. We are driven by meeting the region's need for IT services and being proactive in identifying opportunities for business development through effective IT solutions. The IT Centre has a consolidated responsibility for the IT operations in Region Jönköping County. In close collaboration with our customers, we contribute to the development of the region's operations and support them with good IT solutions.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who have a university degree in a relevant field, such as informatics, systems science, information architecture, business development, or equivalent. Alternatively, you have other education and work experience that the employer assesses as equivalent.

You have documented experience in information management, data governance, and/or business architecture, as well as the ability to see information as a strategic resource. You have developed structures, models, and working methods that support the organization's goals and are accustomed to working closely with leadership in complex organizations. You have experience leading cross-functional change initiatives, creating consensus among different stakeholders, and translating strategic goals into concrete results.

Furthermore, you are proactive, independent, and development-oriented, with the ability to drive the work forward even when conditions change. Through a structured and solution-focused approach, you successfully navigate complex environments. You also have good collaboration skills, build trusting relationships, and contribute to an open and inclusive culture where dialogue, knowledge sharing, and shared responsibility are a natural part of the work. Personal suitability is given great weight.
