Your role with us

As a Production Technician with us, you will have an important role in the development of our production. You will work to ensure efficient, sustainable, and quality-assured processes and serve as a support to production in daily operations. You will function as a technical support in the business, participate in production team prioritizations and activities, and contribute to developing both working methods and production flows.

Main responsibilities:

  • Drive improvement and investment projects from idea to implementation
  • Ensure that workplaces and processes are safe, ergonomic, and efficient
  • Develop and update work instructions and standards
  • Prepare new products and handle product changes in production
  • Conduct balancing activities to create efficient and sustainable flows
  • Actively work with continuous improvement and LEAN methodology

Location is Tidaholm Träcenter. Working hours are primarily during daytime. Travel may occur to a limited extent if needed.

What you need to succeed in the role

To succeed in the role, you have post-secondary education in production technology, mechanical engineering, or equivalent. You have at least five years of experience as a production technician, production engineer, or similar role in manufacturing industry. You have a good understanding of production processes and experience in driving improvement work that contributes to increased efficiency, quality, and productivity.

You are accustomed to working with digital tools, have knowledge of quality, occupational health and safety, and security work, and communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.

Meritorious for the role is experience from the wood industry.
