In our care services, we assist individuals with various types of disabilities. We work to facilitate and support our users in managing the practical aspects of daily life. Our goal is to enable them to live as independently as possible.
We are now looking for a new employee for our supported housing facility on Tvätterskegatan in Visby. Here, you will join a team of experienced and competent colleagues.

Your responsibilities
As a support assistant, you and your colleagues work based on IBIC (Individual Needs in the Center).
You work with supporting, motivating, and assisting users in their daily lives, as well as interpreting and clarifying everyday situations. All our users have specific and individual needs. Some have significant care needs and cannot manage without extensive care and support, while others need more pedagogical support and guidance to handle their daily lives.
The work is characterized by a pedagogical approach, a clear and structured way of working, and a low-affective interaction style. As a support assistant, you provide pedagogical and practical support with both social activities and household chores, as well as personal care and mobility. You participate in the quality development of the operations, as well as in various meetings, training, and supervision.
The position includes being a contact person, which means you are responsible for drafting and revising implementation plans, keeping records, and maintaining contact with relatives and representatives/guardians.
You work according to a basic schedule involving day/evening shifts and weekends.
For the position of support assistant within care services, the starting salary range is 26,800–34,000 SEK per month. We apply individual salary setting. The final salary is determined based on education, relevant experience, competence, and responsibility in the role, as well as in accordance with the current collective agreement.
Who are you?
We are looking for you who have a completed education within healthcare and social care, child and youth activities, social pedagogy, or personal assistance. A B-class driver's license is required for the position.
Previous experience in caring for people with disabilities is an advantage.
As a person, you are flexible, service-oriented, and have good collaboration skills. It is important that you are confident in yourself and in your professional role. You have a calm approach and a willingness to help others and find solutions based on the organization's goals and guidelines.
You are proficient in the Swedish language, both spoken and written, as all communication and documentation takes place in Swedish. You adapt your way of conveying your message to the recipient and are good at listening to what the other party has to say.
