Our vision is "A labor market where everyone is seen as an asset," and we believe you, the reader, share this passion as strongly as we do. Regardless of where you work within our organization, our purpose is ever-present, and accessibility and the belief that all people possess competence serve as our compass and driving force.
We have 24,000 employees, including approximately 1,500 managers and specialists, with operations across the country. Together, we work towards a more inclusive labor market that benefits individuals, organizations, and society at large.
Welcome to Samhall!
The Role of Area Manager
Being an Area Manager at Samhall places you at the absolute center of our operations. You lead a team of employees working in various client assignments, with your primary goal being to provide opportunities for your staff to discover and develop their skills, ultimately preparing them to transition to other employers.
In your daily work, you maintain close contact with clients to ensure everything runs smoothly. Through strong relationships, you also develop the business and identify opportunities for creating more jobs for Samhall's employees.
Creating conditions for our employees' development and ensuring client satisfaction are the very core of our mission as a company. Therefore, all efforts are directed towards building the platform that supports you as an Area Manager.
What We Offer You
As an Area Manager, you begin your development journey with us at our own Samhall School, where you are offered one of Sweden's best leadership programs. Here, you develop as a leader regardless of prior experience, while also gaining specific knowledge in several areas, including leading people with disabilities.
You become part of a large company with 24,000 employees, surrounded by over 800 colleagues nationwide in the same role. This gives you a national network while you are locally integrated into a district with your closest colleagues and report to the Operations Manager. You also collaborate with various support functions locally and centrally. Samhall is undergoing important and exciting development where you, as an Area Manager, play a key role and your perspectives are valued.
What You Bring to the Role
As an Area Manager, you are operational, present, and capable of making decisions with high integrity. Experience from and comfort in a fast-paced, human-centric environment are requirements. We also know that you are comfortable in a leadership role and possess good knowledge of the tasks involved in a managerial position.
In the client assignment, you will handle security-classified clients, which means you will need to pass a security clearance as part of the recruitment process.
In this role, you are responsible for client assignments focused on cleaning services. Therefore, previous experience in leading teams within cleaning services, as well as certificates SRY and Insta 800, are highly advantageous for the position.
As an Area Manager, you are a person on the move, visiting client sites to meet clients and lead your employees. To get around, pool cars are available at the office, meaning a valid Category B driver's license is required for the position.
While solid knowledge is essential, it is our core values that ensure our leaders thrive and do good work over time. Your belief in the equal value of all people, that everyone has competence, and that work has great significance are what motivate you in daily life.
