Landskapsgruppen is a well-established specialist company with roots in landscape architecture and land development. With operations in Gothenburg and Lund, we have built a strong value proposition and earned the trust of our clients. We are now ready for the next step: strengthening our position, developing our business, and uniting the company for continued sustainable growth.
As the company's first external CEO, your mission is to take a thriving business to a new level by leading, uniting, developing, and clearly positioning Landskapsgruppen in its next phase. With a focus on the business, you will contribute to landscape architecture that creates long-term value and drive the development of employees, the industry, and society.
Business, Brand, and Market
Landskapsgruppen has clear growth ambitions – geographically, in terms of competence, and in revenue. As CEO, you are the company's most important external representative, acting as both a leader and business developer, as well as a cultural ambassador. You build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and networks, drive the development of our offerings, and are active in forums where the industry is shaped.
You are expected to lead the work to:
- strengthen and clarify the brand so that it reflects the company's competence, values, and ambitions.
- increase visibility in the industry through strategic collaborations and presence in relevant networks.
- establish a presence in new geographic markets and within new areas of competence.
- develop the existing business and identify new opportunities in an industry where sustainability, design, and technical complexity are becoming increasingly important.
- develop business acumen within the organization and link quality and design to profitability.
Organization and Leadership
The journey has already begun. As CEO, you will take over and continue to create an even more professional and cohesive company, without losing the creativity, professional pride, and closeness that characterize Landskapsgruppen. You will be instrumental in creating clear roles, well-functioning processes, and strong shared leadership – all with the aim of creating the best possible conditions for successful, profitable, and sustainable projects that develop our employees and our business.
Your responsibilities include, among other things:
- leading the company with overall responsibility for strategy, business, and organization. Setting direction, monitoring goals, and ensuring results.
- building an organization with a strong identity, clear direction, and professional governance, where collaboration between offices and competence areas is natural.
- developing the management team, leadership, and employees, and ensuring we have the right competencies for the future.
- preserving and further developing a culture where creativity, quality, and collaboration are at the center.
- ensuring that Landskapsgruppen's sustainability goals are implemented in both operations and projects, through a work environment where employees thrive and through assignments that contribute to long-term sustainable living environments.
- working closely with the board to translate ambitions, visions, and shareholder directives into concrete action.
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for a business-oriented, relationship-driven, and culture-building CEO who is confident in their leadership role and thrives in an environment where structure and creativity coexist. You have the ability to create collaborations and engagement both internally and externally, and can increase visibility and open doors to new business opportunities. With a combination of strategic foresight and operational engagement, you have the tools to lead a business where sensitivity and humility coexist with business acumen and a strong values-driven professional culture.
We believe you have reached your current position through:
- extensive experience in leading employees and businesses through change towards new goals, with full responsibility for results, personnel, and business.
- consulting activities within urban development or related fields, where you have built both experience and a deep understanding of project-based and knowledge-intensive businesses.
The headquarters is located in Gothenburg, and the role also includes responsibility for Landskapsgruppen Öresund. You should either live in southwestern Sweden or be willing to relocate here.

About Landskapsgruppen
Landskapsgruppen was founded in 1975 by a group of landscape architects and landscape engineers. Today, the company has approximately 40 employees at its offices in Gothenburg and Lund, with a turnover of over 40 MSEK. The company works with landscape architecture, planning, land and water/sewage technology, traffic, inspection, construction management, and surveying, and participates in all phases of the creation of a place or environment – from initial ideas and visions to final inspection.
