We now need to strengthen our team with a Production Planner/Preparer within the Prototype and Hull department.

We are looking for you who have an interest in working with manufacturing preparation, where the focus is on structure, order, and clarity, while maintaining a helicopter view.

You will prepare the products that are manufactured through sheet metal work, welding, and machining. Your main tasks will include:

• Identifying needs and ordering tools and equipment for production.
• Ensuring that preparation documentation is kept up to date.
• Reporting if production documentation is incorrect or if improvements can be made for efficiency.
• Performing changes in documentation such as operation lists and bills of materials.
• Performing buy/make analyses.
• Actively participating in improvement work aimed at reducing costs while increasing quality and delivery reliability.

The production technology department is part of a section within BAE called Prototype and Hull. Within our section, we build the chassis that later become finished vehicles, handling all processes with high-tech machinery from cutting to painting in-house.

Reporting is done to the Head of Preparation/Planning/Purchasing.

Who you are

We believe you have relevant education. We believe you are at the beginning of your career and have a strong interest in the manufacturing industry. Practical experience in welding, machining, sheet metal preparation, or production technology work towards the workshop is an advantage. We would appreciate if you have experience with some business system. As we are an international corporation, you need to have good knowledge of Swedish and English.

The role assumes that you are independent. As a person, you are structured and have high self-drive. You find it easy to collaborate and thrive in a team.
