As a Field Service Specialist, you become a central link between Metso and our customers. Based at the local office, you will spend much of your time out in the field, working closely with customers to provide first-class support and technical assistance. Your daily routine revolves around maximizing operations and optimizing equipment through both emergency interventions and long-term preventive work.

Responsibilities

• Preventive Maintenance: Perform technical inspections, provide recommendations, and assist customers with advanced troubleshooting and service.
• Installation & Training: Be responsible for local installations, provide commissioning support, and train customer personnel in basic daily maintenance.
• Consulting: Identify improvement potential and proactively suggest products and solutions that create added value.
• Leading Maintenance Shutdowns: Plan and lead planned maintenance shutdowns, taking overall responsibility for the project and the shift personnel.
• Safety & Administration: Conduct risk assessments and report risks as part of our strict safety work. You will also handle compilations, reporting, and invoicing documentation.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is proactive, development-oriented, and motivated by technical challenges. Since the role involves gradually taking on more responsibility, you must be able to work independently and make your own decisions in the field. At the same time, you are a team player who communicates and collaborates effectively with colleagues, customers, and subcontractors. Furthermore, we see that you are well-organized and structured.

We are looking for someone who has:

• A technical education and/or documented experience in the field.
• Experience within the mining industry, plant operations, or industrial maintenance.
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• A valid Class B driver's license.

Merits:

• Experience reading drawings and technical specifications.
