About Samhall

In Sweden, 250,000 people with disabilities lack a job to go to. This is why Samhall exists – to create meaningful jobs for those who are outside the labor market. Our vision is "A labor market where everyone is seen as an asset," and we believe that you, reading this, feel as strongly about these words as we do. For us, inclusion and development are at the core of everything we do. Regardless of where you work within our organization, our purpose is highly present, and accessibility and the belief that all people have competence serve as our compass and driving force.

We are 24,000 employees, including approximately 1,500 managers and specialists, with operations throughout the country. Together, we work for a more inclusive labor market that benefits individuals, organizations, and society at large.

Welcome to Samhall!

About the Coordinator Position

Within the Labor Market Services unit (AMT), we offer work training as a provider to the Swedish Public Employment Service (Arbetsförmedlingen). Work training is provided to participants with reduced work capacity, allowing them to try working on our client assignments led by our area managers. Participants train for work without production requirements and with guidance from Samhall employees. As the coordinator for work training, you are responsible for the dialogue with the Public Employment Service and for developing and coordinating assignments in Helsingborg. You collaborate with the Public Employment Service, your colleagues, the participants in the work training, and Samhall's area managers in the Helsingborg region.

Your work with participants includes informing all parties involved in the collaboration. You map and document the participants' work capacity, matching them with the right workplace and tasks. You are responsible for adapting the work based on the individual's needs and conditions while challenging and coaching each individual towards development according to their abilities. You continuously follow up with participants during their work training. Naturally, you are also responsible for reporting the evaluation results to the Public Employment Service.

You will have great opportunities, together with your colleagues in the team, to set up and plan your own work.

To succeed in this role, you need to have:

  • Experience working with people with disabilities
  • Ability to establish contacts and build good relationships
  • University education or other education/experience that the employer deems equivalent
  • Experience working with services procured by the Public Employment Service
  • Valid driver's license (Category B)

As a person, you are engaged, reliable, and attentive. You have good self-awareness and are open and curious by nature. Your basic attitude is positive, and you have the ability to motivate your fellow human beings. You believe in people's own ability to develop.
